Vision

Our vision is to empower children to effect positive change in the world by promoting peaceful relationships that allow disparate beliefs to live in harmony. We trust that the Montessori philosophy will engender deep love and respect for our earth, safeguarding it for future generations.

Purpose

The purpose of Foothill Montessori of Salt Lake is to provide a rich and high-fidelity Montessori educational experience that guides and nurtures the natural unfolding of the whole individual and inspires a lifelong passion for learning and peace.

Testimonials

FMSL has been a central part of our family for over 13 years. What started out as a solution for daycare has turned into a beautiful community that has helped me raise four children with the assistance of Montessori methodology. The school has been a rock for us through difficult family times and throughout turns in the economy and the pandemic. They have made an effort to know my family and our specific needs and truly be a partner in providing whatever they can for our situation.

The FMSL Difference

The Foothill Montessori of Salt Lake enrolls students aged 3 months through 6th grade offering a uniquely authentic Montessori curriculum. The Montessori method of teaching aims for the fullest possible development of the whole child, ultimately preparing each student  for life’s many rich experiences. Montessori education is a flow experience; it builds on the continuous self construction of the child- daily, weekly, yearly.
